Ms. Rachna Trehan is a passionate educator who brings with her a rich experience of more than 25 years. Working in various capacities in Pre-School and K-12 education system, Ms. Trehan has set a benchmark in the sphere of academics, co-curricular activities, sports and social equity programs. While remaining committed and connected to all her students, her particular focus has been on coaching, mentoring and professional development of the school staff to ensure high academic achievement for all students.
Ms. Trehan is a result –focused leader specializing in building teams, aiming to provide excellent academic standards based on pioneering state of the art teaching methods and tools. She is a firm believer in multiple intelligence based approach in education coupled with use of innovative learning methods including interactive discussions, technology and experiential learning. She has attended several workshops that honed her skills. To add to her professional repertoire, she has conducted several workshops for the students, teachers and parents.
Integrated Intelligent Support Activities focusing on hands-on learning and Interdisciplinary Approach by incorporating a plethora of revolutionary methods like such as Jolly phonics, Jodo Gyan, Theme based celebrations, Nature Walks, Reggio Emilia approach, Show and Tell, Declamations, Enrichment classes, DEAR time, Life skills activities, bring her to the forefront of believing that a classroom should be filled with wonders of exploration, experience and expectation attesting total quality management in education. Parents are a constant motivation to any school to work tirelessly and attain new milestones. Believing in the three-way-handshake Ms. Trehan always works in tandem with the parent community.
An alumnus of the Lady Irwin College, Delhi, she pursued her career in the Early Years segment with reputed institutions like Ryan International School, GD Goenka Public school and The Shri Ram Educare. Her last 8 years have been in schools holding leadership positions in different capacities. Ms. Rachna Trehan emphasises on imparting values, building a conducive and positive school environment that focuses on holistic development of the child to make them lifelong learners and a responsible citizen of the country.
