Reflection on the Masters Union Boardroom Experience

In the month of August, I had the privilege of competing in The Boardroom event hosted by Masters’ Union in?Gurgaon, India. It was my inaugural experience in a Business MUN, where I took on the role of Legal Counsel in the Code and Congress category for two leading companies: Alphabet and Twitter (prior to its acquisition). I participated in board meetings for both companies, stepping back in time to when Alphabet faced a congressional hearing in 2018 and Twitter was amidst Elon Musk's takeover. 

?The debates were intense and electrifying, and through my powerful oratory, exceptional research, and strategic debating skills, I earned the best delegate award in my category.

 The Master’s Union MUN was an exemplary opportunity posing as an insight into the ideal boardroom experience at companies we aspire to step foot in someday. It refined our public speaking skills polishing us to be captivating orators as well as refining our critical thinking skills. It provided us with a type of exposure that was unfamiliar to us all, helping us adapt to a corporate environment from different positions.
