Sex education UnTaboo

The school in association with UnTaboo also organised a Sex education session for DP2 students. Sex education plays a pivotal role in equipping young people with the knowledge and skills they need to make informed decisions about their sexual health and well-being. For grade 12 students, who are on the cusp of adulthood, comprehensive sex education is particularly important to make them aware of safe sex practices, building healthy relationships, strengthening body positivity, sexual wellness and emotional wellbeing.  

Ms. Anjali Dubey, an expert speaker on the topic conducted a session for DP 2 students. She in association with UnTaboo planned a sex education module with videos and informative content to strengthen awareness and encourage students to make informed decisions and enhance sexual health and wellbeing. 

Students participated actively in the quiz and asked questions about contraceptives, first time sex expectations and accepting one’s body. Overall the session provided an opportunity to break the silence and open conversations about sexual health and wellness amongst students.
