Students embarked on their inquiry journey into measurement and engaged in a Gallery Walk experience that served as a prior knowledge assessment and an exploration of tools to measure length using standard and non-standard units. During this immersive activity, students had the opportunity to showcase their existing understanding of measurement concepts while also delving into new avenues of exploration. Through hands-on engagement with various measurement tools such as rulers, measuring tapes, and non-standard objects. Students actively inquired into the intricacies of length measurement. As they navigated through the gallery, students collaborated with their peers, made observations, and posed questions, laying the foundation for deeper conceptual understanding. The Gallery Walk and exploration time not only served as a platform for assessing students' prior knowledge but also ignited their curiosity and set the stage for meaningful inquiry into the world of measurement.
