The Hunger heroics of PYP 5R in collaboration with PYP 5P, 5T and 5U presented a Global Hunger Summit as the PYP exhibition assembly where the students engaged in thoughtful discussions and strategies to combat hunger and food insecurity worldwide. They explored the root causes of hunger, examined the impact of poverty and inequality, and proposed innovative solutions to ensure access to nutritious food for all. Through this simulation of a United Nations conference, students developed Critical thinking skills while also gaining a deeper understanding of global issues and the importance of international cooperation. The learners exhibited the competency of Resilience while sharing about the impact of the actions taken by them with their PYP 4 peers as an audience leading towards a community to raise awareness, inspire action, and make a difference in the fight against hunger
